The PTA of PS 6
Welcome to the 2016 - 2017 school year. The PTA of PS 6 is looking forward to a great year ahead! We work on behalf of PS 6 students and their families to provide valuable enhancements to our school. The PTA raises over $800K per year which pays for Assistant Teachers in every classroom and essential items such as technology upgrades, professional development for the teachers and a performing arts program for every grade. The PTA also organizes community building events throughout the year which are enjoyed by the students, their families and our teachers.
The PTA Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is our largest fundraising campaign of the year. Over 50% of the PTA annual revenue comes from Annual Fund donations. The PTA has an operating budget of over $800,000; although, each year we start with a $0 balance. Help us reach our goal of 100% family participation by January 31, 2017.
All donations are greatly appreciated and work toward our school-wide goal of 100% participation.
With your contributions last year, we were able to enrich all of our children’s educational experience for which we are very grateful. To make this happen again, we are asking for 100% participation in this year’s PS 6 Annual Fund.
How To Participate
The suggested donation is $1,200 per child, but we encourage you to give any amount your family is able to give. All donation sizes are appreciated and work toward our school-wide goal of 100% participation. All donations to the PS 6 Annual Fund are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Payment may be made by check or credit card. You may also set up an installment plan on the Annual fund form. All donations are confidential and tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Thank you for your past generosity. This year, we encourage you to support the efforts of the parent body to maximize what we can provide for all of our children at PS 6. Please help us reach our goal this year by clicking on the button below.
The PTA Needs You!
The PTA wouldn't be able to hold so many great events without your incredible support, so please consider participating in our school community by volunteering your time and talents. If you have just one hour, one day or can commit to a longer term project, we need you! You can help from home, your office or at the school.
Any questions? Please contact PTA Co-Presidents Christine Trauben and Yvette Bjork at email@example.com
